It's Wednesday Challenge time! This week we've got an color challenge for you: brown, blue and tan! I cheated a bit and used the fabulous BoBunny Snowfall paper in order to get all three colors ;0) I also used the brand new Monkey Zoo stamps as well and the ever useful Balloons and Squiggles CC's Cutters to go along with him!

Amy has brought us some more of the adorable Fairwees! These super cute ladies are all dressed up for a party this time. Today I've got "Jilly's Candle" to introduce you to. Jilly is a fave of mine, I love her curly hair and happy face, not to mention her ballet style dress! I was flipping through a new paper pad and saw this ice cream, and though it's not cake, I thought they would go together really cute and lo and behold, they did! Well, this will be my last post before Christmas, I truly hope that all of you who celebrate it have a wonderful one! For everyone else I hope that you have a nice break from school and work.

I used one of Amy's fabulous Sweet November sentiments and some new CC's Cutters, "Phlox Flowers" and "Leaves" paired with adorable new Greeting Farm stamp "Holiday Anya". I think it came together pretty nicely, love the colors in this EP paper from last year and I thought the sentiment was sweet and fun :0) Merry Christmas to you all!!!

I had this beautiful new BoBunny paper that I got from All That Scraps as well as this great sentiment set by AmyR that I really wanted to pair together. Then I remembered that I bought my very first Gorjuss Girl called "The Winter's Night" from ATS awhile ago (a LONG while ago). After some frantic searching, I unearthed her from my "desk", right now known as the towering stack of crap. After adding some various snowflake stamps I had to the Gorjuss Girl, I thought the three elements came together really well into kind of a peaceful, vintagey winter or Christmas card!

I know I used Blowing Kisses Birgitta here in a Christmas setting before, but she was totally crying out to be paired with some Valentine's paper too :0) The little ticket that her stool is sitting on is from a K&CO paper stack and it says "Pucker Up!" so I thought it was perfect for Birgitta and of course had to use it. It's a pretty simple bookmark, but for something that you shove in between pages I guess it kind of needs to be more on the simple side!

This new little lady is Birgitta Blowing Kisses and while she can be used quite easily for Valentine's Day I thought she would make a cool Christmas card too! V-Day isn't the only say we send love to those we care about, right? I paired her with an AmyR sentiment from her "Snowman Sayings" pack that says "I'm dreaming of a white Christmas with you!". I thought it came out great for giving to your significant other for the holidays whether they are with you or far away.

I know, I know, you're like "WHAT? Valentines Day cards?? I'm still on Christmas!" Well so am I, I just took a little break from them because I thought this new sweetie "Lula Big Heart" from ATS was just crying out for some Valentines Day paper!

Her little heart sign board is actually blank, I just used one of the new AmyR Heart-y Sayings stamps on it and also on the heart die cut which is also being released this month at ATS. I love Lula because you can used her for so many different types of occasions, I just went for the obvious this time ;0)

I was at the local scrap store which I seldom get to, but love and I picked up a few sheets of this fabulouso fall paper from Imaginisce which also worked out super well for the challenge. I thought Boho Anya's easy-breezy style suited the paper perfectly and I'm so please with how this came together! She looks like she's ready to go out looking for some good pumpkins to carve up, right??

As soon as I saw the card for that Naomi made for the TGF Royalty contest (below), I know I wanted to have it as my pick for Mystery Monday! I loved the fun and functional layout and of course the beautiful colors and touches she added to it. Can't wait to see your guy's take on her fab creation :0)

I used one of the new fun and stylish Miss Anya Bags girls. Thought the sentiment really tied the whole thing together, because really, shopping is a fab pick-me-up. Are you feeling it in the air?? It's getting to be around my favorite time of the year...Halloween! Ok, we've got awhile, BUT if you are like me and love any and all things Halloween then this year we want you to get an early start and make a Halloween themed project!

I chose to make a scary group of vampire trick or treaters. When I showed this card to my friend Amy, she said they looked like kind of kids you hope to avoid while trick or treating, lol. She's totally right! Speaking of Amy, I used her fabulous tutorial on creating vampire/zombie skin and it's HERE.

I got some new My Minds Eye paper awhile back and I just had to break it out to use with one of these fabulous and stylish new Miss Anya Bags ladies. I'm not normally a gold girl, but I really love the pinks and golds together in this paper and thought they would compliment this Miss Anya perfectly :0) She reminds me of a girl standing and waiting to go on her first date; a little shy but excited too!

Ok, so as soon as I saw Amy's super fun and useful "Brrrraaaaaiiiinnsss" video I knew I needed to try out the technique. Then Lula here arrived in the mail and I thought she was perfect to try out the "undead" look. I didn't have the same colors Amy used, so I used E000/C1/C3 with some VOOO thrown in to make her look extra unhealthy. SO MUCH FUN! Seriously, she's the only zombie I'd care to look at twice because they freak me out, lol.

Yes, I know. I'm on a bookmark kick. But they are so fun and easy and I'd run out, so forgive me, lol. Today I've got just one of Amy's sweet new witches, say hello to Hilda and her bat friend Vlad. I chose to give her skin a bit of a green cast because, hey, it's Halloween and I can! As cute as Hilda is, I love Vlad and his fun little eyes too, they are quite the whimsical pair.

The week for the fabulous FFF challenge, we'd like you to do things "By the Numbers". Meaning? All you have to do is use a number on your project! Easy, peasy ;0)

This was supposed to look like "26!", my daughter informed me that it looked like an upside down "i" at the end though. Oh well!!! Used the new "Boho Anya" as well as one of the new CLEAR stamps from the "Bantastic" set. I would like to point out that I don't have any of the dies to make banners with, I just cut them by hand once I stamped them, so don't be intimidated into thinking you have to have a die ;0)

Kraftin' Kimmie has a FUN new Halloween release for us all and I personally feel that Halloween can never come too early, I just love the spooky images, papers, embellies, etc. When I saw KK was having a "Spooky Challenge" I totally had to get in on that early Halloween action :0)

I used the classic and SUPER fun Perfect Poison stamp for this card as well as some of my new and awesome Echo Park Apothecary paper because I thought it went so well with the image! She's so delightfully evil, I just love her, lol.

This week for FFF we've got a school challenge: "2 Cool 4 School"! Show us your best school-related projects, either for students or teachers, doesn't matter ;0)

I used the classic and ever useful "Teacher Anya" to make a fun little gift bag. I'm going to fix it with pencils and erasers and glue sticks and other small things that I know Brooklyn's teacher always have a use for. Broke out some old school paper (no clue where from) and a cute little shaker button thing with an apple in it. Hopefully B's new teacher will like it!

Farm Fresh Friday - Throwback Challenge #3!

The throwback challenge requires you to break out your "old" TGF sets (which let's face it...aren't that old, lol). At the bottom of the post there is an "Exclusion List" which has the last several months worth of TGF releases on it. The deal is that you can use anything on your project BUT those stamps. So dust off your very first TGF purchases and make them shine again :0)

I used one of my favorite "vintage" TGF sets, 'Oliver and Amelia - Happy Day'. I just love Oliver because he reminds me a ton of my son and his little dinosaur friends give me the opportunity to break out my old dinosaur border punch. I did an easel card here and let me tell ya, MAN did I make it way harder than it needed to be, lol. That's what I get for not doing a "different" card in a long time.

As for my special project.... I used the SUPER cute new Birthday Ian, I just love his little banner! I didn't use the MM inspiration card because... I forgot. No good excuse, lol, I just got so excited to ink him up and make a blog hop card that I totally forgot to combine it with MM! I know, I'm fired ;0)

WOW- Brown/Sepia Color Challenge!

For WOW this week we've got a color challenge! Use all Sepia or brown tones on your card :0) Sounds hard, but it's actually not as bad as you'd think, I promise!

I just love Shooter, she's got attitude, no cowboy is going to mess with her! I have to say, I just am so happy with how this card came out! I didn't think it all out beforehand, it kind of just came together piece by piece. My only hindrance was my total lack of brown embellishments, the two you see (the card candy and "stone" ones) are the only ones I had. This card is from a looooong time ago and I used my Cricut for the two stars in the middle and my cuttlebug for the embossing.

This week should be easy peasy! All you have to do is Piece It Together...otherwise known as paper piecing ;0) You can piece as little or as much as you want as long as we see somethin'.

There isn't a ton to piece on Babette but I pieced her dress a bit and then colored on it to give it a little depth. Used the fab sentiment "Just Because" she came with too, it's even written in a cute font!

I picked Paula's card for this week's Mystery Monday challenge because I love the combination of fun shape, beautiful colors and papers and the perfect stamp! It's such a great layout, right??

Since our last throwback challenge was so popular we are bringing it back again, but this time with a TWIST! The throwback challenge requires you to break out your "old" TGF sets (which let's face it...aren't that old, lol). At the bottom of the post there is an "Exclusion List" which has the last several months worth of TGF releases on it. The deal is that you can use anything on your project BUT those stamps. So dust off your very first TGF purchases and make them shine again :0)

THIS TIME it's an ABC Throwback challenge meaning you have to make anything but a card! Bookmarks, altered items, notebooks, whatever you'd like as long as it's not a card and you use a Throwback eligible stamp!

I used the oldie but goodie Lolli Anya stamp! I sterilized and altered a prima flower jar and filled it with M&M's for my neighbor's birthday on the 4th of July. Love this Anya but too often overlook her so I was glad to break her out. I was about to go all crazy and color coordinate the M&M's but then I thought that was a little overboard even for me and decided against it ;0)

This week may or may not be super challenging, it just depends, lol. Anyone who reads this blog knows I love color so making a B&W card was hard, but also a nice change! I kept it simple and used a pretty patterned paper and only added a bit to it. Came up with a card that could be used for almost any occasion! If you are like most of us, there is probably someone in your circle of friends and family that are graduating this year...just like I hope to someday, lol (next year, fingers crossed!). If not a graduate, maybe a student that's had an awesome school year or a friend/spouse that got a raise at work. We would like you to make a "congratulations" project! Let those hard working people know how proud you are of them :0)

The ATS Wed Challenge this week is the often forgotten about, but always fun...paper piecing! I broke out my Sweet November Lilliane stamp again because she may be my all time favorite stamp. I paper pieced part of her bodice and skirt and she's sooooo stylin now, lol

I decided to mix some of the old and some of the new on this bookmark. I've got the brand new stone wall stamp just released this month at ATS and I've got an older (but not old) stamp from the Take Seat Set. I made my own sentiment that says "dream" which I thought was perfect for her little whimsical expression and also for a bookmark since my head is usually in the clouds when I'm reading :0)

We've got a super fun color combo for this WOW challenge...purple and green! They go together surprisingly well and I thought would work perfect with the new Abbey Creeper stamp.
