Somehow I've never had to make a sympathy card yet and it's really difficult. Our next doors neighbors (whom we are very close to) lost their mother, who we all referred to as Grandma. I wanted to make something nice, but not too solemn because I personally feel that while death is very sad that the person's life should also be celebrated.
I used two flourish stamps I had and arranged them so they met in the middle. Then I added some pretty Primas and a few pearls for an elegant touch. Hopefully it's a nice sympathy card, if there is such a thing.

Perfect sympathy card, Rach! Love the simplicity and sweet colors. I believe that life should be celebrated, too...
You've created a beautiful sympathy card. Those flourishes are beautiful, and i love how you added the primas and pearls.
I think you've got the balance between sympathy and celebration of life perfect.
A stunningly elegant card :)

It is a gorgeous sympathy card and you did very well in achieving what you were going after. Not too bold and not too drab. I know your friends will really appreciate this beauty and your thoughtfulness. Hugs!!
