Sweet November Preview - Day 3!

Amy has brought us some more of the adorable Fairwees! These super cute ladies are all dressed up for a party this time.  Today I've got "Jilly's Candle" to introduce you to.  Jilly is a fave of mine, I love her curly hair and happy face, not to mention her ballet style dress!  I was flipping through a new paper pad and saw this ice cream, and though it's not cake, I thought they would go together really cute and lo and behold, they did!  Another fun bookmark to stick in someone's birthday card this year ;0)  Stay tuned in the upcoming days for more of the Fairwees, they'll be available at All That Scraps on January 6th!!

Pucker up!

I know I used Blowing Kisses Birgitta here in a Christmas setting before, but she was totally crying out to be paired with some Valentine's paper too :0)  The little ticket that her stool is sitting on is from a K&CO paper stack and it says "Pucker Up!" so I thought it was perfect for Birgitta and of course had to use it.  It's a pretty simple bookmark, but for something that you shove in between pages I guess it kind of needs to be more on the simple side!

Sweet November Previews Day 2!

Amy has brought us some fun new CHRISTMAS fairwees!!!  These little cuties were pretty popular the first time around so it's only fitting they be the ones to help kick of this holiday season :0)  Today I've got Snow Flurry Emaline! I stamped some of the cute little snowflakes surrounding her extra times onto the image so it looks like she's in a little snow storm.  She'll make such a cute bookmark for someone's mid-winter read!

It's that time o' year...HALLOWEEN stuff!!!!  Amy has brought us some fun and whimsical new characters to haunt Sweet November land.  They'll be available at All That Scraps on September 8th!

Yes, I know.  I'm on a bookmark kick.  But they are so fun and easy and I'd run out, so forgive me, lol.  Today I've got just one of Amy's sweet new witches, say hello to Hilda and her bat friend Vlad.  I chose to give her skin a bit of a green cast because, hey, it's Halloween and I can!  As cute as Hilda is, I love Vlad and his fun little eyes too, they are quite the whimsical pair.

Which One Wednesday...Photo Inspiration #3

It's time again for another photo inspiration challenge for WOW over at the Farm Fresh Challenge blog!  I found this totally beautiful picture (below) and used the dominant colors from the picture as well as the flowers to make this bookmark.  I used the fabulous new Amelia from the Oliver and Amelia 'Surprise' birthday set and at the top I used a a cool 3D present...thingy...that i've had in my drawer forever.  I guess my habit of squirreling stuff away whether I know what to do with it or not works for me sometimes, lol.

The W.O.W. challenge is open until Tuesday; entries are due by 12 PM CST.

I always get requests for more bookmarks but I'm trying to change things up so I've made another corner one.  I made the scale a bit bigger this time so I could fit more on it though, lol!  I've used the ever fabulous Princess Lilliane from Sweet November and one of AmyR's new Magical Wishes Sentiments.  I thought the "Have a Magical Day" sentiment was perfect for a bookmark :0)

Ok, how RIDICULOUSLY cute are the new princesses at TGF??? I used the new Princess #2 for this WOW challenge which is "monochromatic".  I went with pink for my 1 color and used all kinds of shades of it to make this bookmark, which I think came out too cute to stick in a book, lol.

ATS Review Preview Time

I decided to mix some of the old and some of the new on this bookmark.  I've got the brand new stone wall stamp just released this month at ATS and I've got an older (but not old) stamp from the Take  Seat Set.  I made my own sentiment that says "dream" which I thought was perfect for her little whimsical expression and also for a bookmark since my head is usually in the clouds when I'm reading :0)

I want to start off by saying these new princesses that Amy is putting out this month are my favorite SN release so far! They are all just beautiful, that girl should work for Disney!

I'm ashamed to say I haven't broken this TGF cutie out in TOO long!  Made a bookmark and I've decided that I like doing bookmarks so much because they are fun, useful and believe it or not...challenging! You don't have a lot of space to work with and you have to keep the embellies flat, so despite the fact that they would seem easy they're really not.
