2 more! CA&F NYD Challenges...cont.

lub Anya and Friends (CA&F) is having a New Year's Day (NYD) challenge and I just HAD to participate b/c the challenges are awesome!

This card is for challenge #12 which is to use ribbon.  I suck at tying bows but Traci (aka WickedPixie) clued me in about the "Bow Easy" and now I'm a bow making fiend, lol! Also broke out my "Leave it to Weaver" punch to add a little lacing detail :0)

The next card is for Melyssa's "Tag You're It!" #6 challenge.  Needed a card for a friend's upcoming birthday so this was the perfect opportunity.  Right now the tag says Happy Birthday but eventually there will be a gift card attached instead of that.

Card #1
TGF Stamp - Laundry Girl
Copics
DCWV Paper
Leave It to Weaver punch
Cuttlebug embossing folder - "Stars"

Card #2
TGF Stamp - Miss Anya Collection

Copics
Cricut - Tags, Bags, Boxes and More cart (tag/holder)
DCWV Paper
EK Success (American Girl) butterfly border punch
Card Candy
Stickles

Hi Rachel,

I just saw your comment on my blog and I had to pop over to tell you that Jess Diedrich and I were on the phone most of the night last night chatting about all the wonderful submissions to the New Years Challenges, and I did not know if you saw that your card was originally picked to win that challenge or not before it was changed because someone brought it to the teams attention that your card did not have flowers on it, but anyway your card is awesome and it was well loved and I just wanted to let you know that we were talking about how awesome your coloring is I love it!!!! You did a great job an you inspired me to stamp and color up Laundry last night she is so cute and I love your vibrant colors girl!!!!

This is an award winning card even if it had to be changed because of an oversight!!!!
